Welcome on my website. I’ll hope you like it. As you’ll see I’m greenkeeper – turf specialist. This website or blog was created by combining my hobby and work – my passion. I like designing websites. I wanted to become a web developer but found a job on the golf course as a greenkeeper and fell in love with it. Work is my passion. Recently, I even started playing golf, thanks to which I understand players better in my work.
I come from Poland. I aIlways wanted to be web designer. For most time in my life I worked as a graphic designer – I wasn’t happy but the work as greenkeeper allowed me to discover what I want to do in my life. I did really different things in my life, I was a taxi driver, bus driver, seaman, IT specialist, graphic designer, but late, in my forties, I discovered what I would do in my life. Better late than never. I worked on golf courses and golf course construction in variuos parts of Europe, most in Sweden but I was in Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Poland.
As you saw on the homepage, it is not just another blog about golf. I try to present golf and everything related to it through the eyes of a greenkeeper. Many articles have been inspired by my school – Scotland Rural College in Elmwood. I also want to share my knowledge and experience gained on golf courses in various parts of Europe. I’m also going to publish some interviews with interesting people in the golf industry – talks are still ongoing.
On the first golf course I worked, the words he told me stuck in my mind.
